Jonathan H. Adcock, DVM

I am from Western North Carolina.  I grew up outside of Asheville, NC in a small town called Candler.  I started volunteering at a veterinary clinic when I was 8 years old and have been into veterinary medicine ever since.  I went to veterinary school at the University of Tennessee (Go Vols!).  During vet school I started to become interested in ruminants with special interest in the small ruminants (sheep, goats and llamas), however I love working on all types of animals. 

I grew up playing soccer in North Carolina where I was a scholarship player for two years at Montreat College where I met my beautiful wife Rebecca.  We have been together for almost 8 years and have two fine beagles.   

My hobbies are running long distances (if you see me on the road just wave), biking, and triathlons.  My wife and I also like to hike with our dogs.  I grew up in Tarheel country so I really enjoy watching Carolina Basketball in the winter.
